11 months is already a month to remember. Logan has cut his 6th tooth, he can stand up at will, and has made his way into the tub all by himself...luckily it was bath time and Dad was right there with him. Alyssa is a mobile bottle drinker now and can climb on the ottoman aparently all by herself...Twice today I have found her up there. I have a feeling we will have even more bumps and bruises than we have already had to date. Both of them are sick right now with croup...hopefully on the upswing.
Last Thursday they started having low grade fevers...usually teething related. Then Saturday while Daddy was home with them Logan had a febrile seizure. Scary way to find out that your kids temperature is rising too quickly. Went to the hospital to find the underlying infection and did not find one...croup is viral not bacterial so his catheter, blood draw, and chest x-ray were all for not.
Lets hope the rest of month 11 is a bit more mellow...with tons of family in for Thanksgiving....maybe mellow is not the right word...hopefully less scary.
