Movie Recommendation

For anyone that has not seen this movie I highly recommend it. On our trip up to Colorado our friends brought it and we got to watch it on the way up. It is based on the story of Esther.

I just cant say enough good things about it. I am so excited that we were introduced to it by our friends that I thought I would share it with anyone that actually looks at our blog. We found another movie that we enjoy watching on Sunday afternoons...YEA!

Just a side note...I have been meaning to post this since we got home but wanted to do it with the picture and this week at Family Home Evening (FHE) /Bible Study we talked about Esther and that is why I am finally getting around to telling anyone and everyone how much I enjoy this movie.

Off Friday Project

So, I would like to send a shout out to my 2 younger brothers. Stephen and Michael. I need to thank them for inspiring me to do the project we worked on this Friday.

When we moved into our house my parents gave us my younger brothers bunkbeds and they needed a little TLC. So that is what they got this weekend the TLC they have been starving for over the past I don't know how many years. We took them apart and spent all morning sanding them down...my little brothers were quite the artist. I don't recall who had the top bunk, but I think he was the more artistic one...at least on wood :)

Then we stained them in the evening. They are still drying out in the garage currently so hopefully they turn out great...I'm not too worried, they can't be any worse than they already were.

List

This is really sad, but I have a list of things that I want to post on my blog. Am I the only person who does this?

Most people just post something if they think of it, but I often think of things to post while I am at work and unfortunately at work I am not able to upload picts and I ususally have a picture I want to add to each post. What a delima. I guess this proves once again that I am a list person :)

Copper Mountain 2009

Well I am almost back to my routine. We got back late Friday night from our trip to Colorado and I have been swamped at work trying to catch up, but I think tomorrow I will finally feel like I have.

Alex and I went to Copper Mountain Colorado with our friends Doug & Cassie this year. We had a blast! 4 days on the slopes...(and 2 in the car).

I am still a beginner...I have only been boarding for 8 days now over the past 3 years...all things considered I think I am doing pretty well :) This year I have improved by being able to ride toe side and switch back to heel side effortlessly clockwise, but I have not had any success switching back to toe side. Maybe next year. I have had a few painful falls over my total of 8 days so I am not being that aggressive.
