11 Months

I am seriously about to cry thinking they are already a year in 1 more month.

They have had a very busy and productive month.

Alyssa has learned a new trick...she can blink on demand...as long as she feels like it :) She has become much more aware of her feet and plays with them, especially when she is tired. She has also become a bit harder to feed. If you don't keep her hands occupied with a cracker she will take a bite then stick out her tounge and pull food back out and roll it around in her hand. It can get pretty messy.

Logan has mastered walking...still uses assistance standing back up, but I am sure as soon as he wants to he will stand up in the middle of the room without anything to assist. He has also turned his hand to where he is clapping a "normal" clap.

They are beginning to climb like crazy...I say that now, but maybe it is not crazy yet...I am sure it will get much more crazy. Logan has made his way into a box and if allowed he would be in the dishwasher no problem.
Alyssa climbs on everything. She tries to pull herself up on the counter in the bathroom...and yesterday she had her feet up in the entertainment center as she was crouched over a standing toy. See below...
Their love for each other continues to grow and they are beginning to show love towards each other. They will cuddle and hug eachother. They have always picked on eachother while the other was sleeeping trying to wake them to play, but yesterday Alyssa went down for a nap and Logan laid his head on her back and went to sleep as well. Too cute. They are starting to show some extra love and appreciation towards Mom as well. Logan gives me back rubs...he pats on my back and even scratches it. It is nice to feel appreciated for all of my hard work :)

They are learning to use sippy cups now and Mom & Dad are looking forward with much anticipation to dropping the formula from our monthly expenses. They are mimicing words...they say Yah in agreement a lot...they have said bye a time or two and I swear the other day they said cookie...or at least their version of how cookie is said. They also know where and what belly buttons are. They can find their own, each others and even Mommy & Daddy's.

They had a great Halloween and are looking forward to not only passing out, but collecting candy next year.
Grandma and Grandpa Ruske came up this last weekend and brought Aunt Cyndi. We had lots of fun with our new car from Cousin Elizabeth (see below) and our new church clothes. (top of the blog). Alyssa also cut her first upper tooth this past weekend...she has 3 now and Logan still has 5.

I don't think they are both going to fit for very long...I guess we will have to buy another one.
